Frank Otis Elementary
We will be doing the Walk-A-Thon awards presentation at the Monday Assembly on January 28, 2019 at 8:20am.
Although a few students will be acknowledged at the assembly, I want to personally thank all Otis students who participated in the Walk-A-Thon this year and handed in donation envelopes regardless of how much they collected. I want to also thank all the families who helped their student be successful on the day of the event and with collecting donations after. The money is much appreciated and will be well spent to enrich your child's experience at Otis.
DRUMROLL PLEASE......... And the awards go to:
- Highest Overall Donation
It's a tie! The award for highest donation amount collected school-wide is a tie between siblings EVELYN GINSBERG and NATHAN GINSBERG. Congratulations and thank you!
- Highest Donation For Each Grade Level
The following students collected the most donations in their grade level:
|First Grade||Zia Patel|
|Second Grade||Virginia Maier|
|Third Grade||Fletcher Chambliss|
|Fourth Grade||Aron Sand|
|Fifth Grade||Ian Attaway|
Congratulations and thank you!
- Highest Classroom Participation
It's another tie! The classrooms with the highest overall participation rate for envelopes turned in are Ms. Yoon/Whitman's kindergarten class and Ms. Myovich's third grade class! This is the second year that Ms. Myovich's class has won this award. Congratulations and thank you!
Thanks again to all the volunteers who helped on the day of the event and to those people who helped after the even to do data entry and money counting. All your help is very appreciated.
