Dear Franklin community-

Today was the last day of the Ridwell Plastic Film Recycling Drive at school. Wow! Way to go Falcons for collecting and bringing in a mountain of plastic film to be recycled and turned into Trex decking! (this pile doubled in size by the time the truck came to pick it up!)

We hope this recycling drive led to some important conversations in your family about the environmental impact of plastic, how to find ways to recycle different types of plastic, and most importantly how to reduce the amount of plastic we bring into our homes. If you're interested in learning more bout Ridwell's at-home recycling pickup you can follow this unique link just for our school https://get.ridwell.com/franklin. If 9 more families sign up for a household membership by December 15, then we will earn plastic pickup for Franklin for the rest of the school year! You can share the link with friends and family, too, and their membership will also count. (Just make sure they live in a Ridwell service area.)
