Let's celebrate the end of the school year (and the impending Summer Olympics) with a bang!

Put on your game face and compete in a series of events during the Summer of Sports Block Party. The jockiest party of the year will feature: 

• Games Galore. Test your mettle (and win a medal) in a series of games for kids. And the kid inside all of us. 
• Live Music. Dance to beats hotter than Zendaya’s tennis serve, courtesy of Franklin parent acts Ari Vais, Fuzzyy and Baüncy Haüs- with special sporty tunes by DJ Dadbod.
• Food Truck.  We think taco-eating should be an Olympic sport. Don’t you? 
• Ice Cream Truck.  Freeze out the competition with a cone or scoop. 
• Frankie the Falcon.  Your favorite feathered friend will light the official torch to kick off the Summer of Sport ceremony at 5pm. 

Lace up your sneaks, dress to represent your country, and bring your A game to the most epic summer kick-off party in town.

Here’s a pro tip: the Alameda Antiques Fair on Sunday, June 2nd is a great place to pick up retro athletic gear to vie for the prestigious Best Costume event.
