Calling all Middle/High School Student Volunteers for the 2023 Franklin Spooktacular Halloween Event 👻

The Spooktacular Organizing Committee is looking for middle and high school volunteers to help with our annual school-wide Halloween party. The 2023 Spooktacular is taking place on Saturday, 10/28, at Franklin Elementary School. If you are interested, please sign up below.
We will have a virtual meeting on Google Meet on Sunday, 10/22 at 5:00 PM. We will introduce our Spooktacular Coordinators and discuss the volunteer positions for the students. If you are an actor, you must attend this meeting. If you cannot attend, you will need to contact Gina and Titus to make other arrangements.

Friday Student Volunteers Signed Up: 14 / 10Fri, Oct 27 3:30pm-4:30pm
Meet at the flag pole in front of the school and check in with Gina or Titus. We will set up for the Spooktacular event by carrying items from the storage upstairs to the hallway, carry pumpkins to the event, set up tables, help set up decorations. Check out with Gina/Titus and get your 1 service hours signed off.

Saturday High School Volunteers Signed Up: 6 / 10Sat, Oct 28 8:30am-11:30am
We need volunteers to help decorate and set up for the Halloween event. We will put up the tables and chairs, set out electrical cords, set up decorations, remove boxes from the Haunted Hallway when done, etc.

Haunted Hallway Actors - Jail Room Signed Up: 3 / 3Sat, Oct 28 6:00pm-8:00pm
We have a jail room and looking for actors to be in full costume/makeup to fill this role. You must attend the mandatory meeting that will be on Google Meet to be sent to the email for the signup. Potential ideas are wild animals, burglars, villains, etc.

Haunted Hallway Actors - Mask Room Signed Up: 2 / 2Sat, Oct 28 6:00pm-8:00pm
Actors are needed in the mask room to reach out and frighten people. Actors must dress all in black.

Haunted Hallway Actors - Angels, Fairies & Sprites Signed Up: 3 / 3Sat, Oct 28 6:00pm-8:00pm
The angels, fairies, and sprites have a very important job and that is to escort the younger kids who want to experience the hallway without all of the frights. The angels, fairies, and sprites will carry lanterns through the hallway and the actors within the hallway will freeze. You must have a friendly disposition to work with younger kids, and you must attend the pre-event virtual meeting. A google meet link will be sent to the email address provided.
