Hello Franklin community!

Please join us for another PTA meeting, this time in person. You can view the Meeting Agenda prior to the meeting.

When: Monday, April 22, 2024, 6:30pm - 8:00pm

Where: Media Center on the second floor. Childcare and pizza will be provided for kids in the Multipurpose Room downstairs.

We'll cover many topics, including:

• Special Election Meeting.  We will vote on the new slate of PTA board members for the 2024-2025 school year. Please come lend your voice! We also still have open positions if you are feeling called to join next year. You will need to have been a PTA member for 30 days prior to the meeting to be eligible to vote. 

• Budget items. We will hear the recommendation from the teachers, Ms. Chirrick, and the board about the major budget decisions, which include financially supporting staff at Franklin school. If you ever wondered what the majority of our large budget goes to or how you can have a seat at the table to decide where this money goes, please attend this meeting if you can!

• Special guest Margarethe Olsson will join us to show off the amazing art, the variety of techniques, and the many artists that have influenced the piece that the students have done this past school year. Ms. Olsson is able to be at our school thanks to Prop 28 funding and supplies funding through the PTA. We are so happy to have her come chat with us!
