[Reminder] Halloween Parade Monday Oct. 31st - Lower Campus
Fri, Oct 28 5:24pm

Dear Parents,

The Halloween Parade will take place on Monday, October 31st at Serra Park (Lower Campus) in the grass and forested area behind the portable buildings.

The parade will begin at 8:40 am, and a bag for the students to carry their treats will also be supplied by the PTA.
As a reminder, the order for the parade will be:
  • 6th grade
  • 5th grade
  • 4th grade
  • 3rd grade
  • PS
  • Pre-K
  • Kinder
  • 1st grade
  • 2nd grade
The students will parade down the hallway (for students and teachers only) from the front of the building and then out the back preschool and pre-k gate where parents are welcomed to watch for when their class comes out. Parents will need to remain on the opposite side of the gate within the park. The students will pass through the activities around the park, where parents will be able to join and walk alongside the class as the children participate in activities. The parade will end with a photo of the class by the lab area where 3rd grade parents typically pick up their children.

Please be sure to have your students wear something under their costumes, as the teachers will be assisting with helping the students take off their costumes upon their return to class after the parade. Upper campus students are asked to keep their costumes on for the bus ride, and they will be able to change and place their costumes away once they arrive at the Upper Campus.

The bus for the Upper Campus will be leaving at 10am to depart for classes in Santa Clara for 4th-6th grade students. If you elected to drive your student from the parade to the Upper Campus, please be sure to leave after the bus departs, as staff and faculty will be at our Lewiston Campus.

Part of the parade includes the students receiving a wrapped la madeleine cookie. We are asking that students wait and eat this wonderful treat at home.

We look forward to seeing you soon and sharing this celebration with the community.

The PTA Team.
