Changing Lives, Book by Book 3,635 Libraries within 13 Countries 3,782,900 books shipped 1,500+ Partnerships Our Mission: The African Library Project changes lives book by book, together with partners in Africa and North American volunteers, to create, improve, and sustain libraries in African communities. Our Vision: expand opportunities by creating spaces that nurture literacy. Donate BOOK DRIVES 15 YEARS www.africanlibraryproject.org

We aim to collect 1,000 new or gently-used English children’s books and adult how-to books that are relevant to Africa and ~$650 (for shipping) to start one library in Africa countries (Malawi for our book drive).

If you have such books at home that you want to donate, we will gladly take them. We will place a box in the preschool play area (next to the third grade jacket drive box) from 11/21 to 12/9 to collect your donation.
