Dear Parents;

Tomorrow is Teacher & Staff Appreciation. It is a long-standing tradition for students to bring fresh flowers (1 Stem or 1 flower )to teachers and staff to show them how much we appreciate all that they do.


Tomorrow This Thursday morning, March 9 at drop off, tables with buckets will be set up outside the main entrance of the FASSV under the Patio  at the Lower Campus (8am-8:30) and same time at the gates of the Upper Campus (8:15 am-8:45). Please have your child bring one flower/stem for each teacher and/or staff member for whom they would like to recognize and thank. We will have the buckets labeled with each staff member's name. Keep an eye on us!


In addition, FASSV-PTA will also provide a catered lunch for the teachers and staff on Friday, March 10th, for the in-service meeting day. This year the lunch will be from Mediterranean Grill-house in Mountain View.  As part of this long-standing tradition, the parent community have the option to provide the desserts for this appreciation lunch for staff. (This part was on hold since Covid and we are excited to welcome it back this year!) We invite parents to volunteer to bring a dessert to school, no obligation however. The dessert will need to be prepared and brought to the LOWER Campus and will be stored in the fridge for Friday's lunch. If you plan to bring a dessert, please sign-up here on Konstella. Dessert ideas: fruit platters, cultural dessert, homemade cookies, pies, just to give some ideas.
