NEW Weekly Updates / KROC help needed / Konstella Code of Conduct
Sun, Dec 15 9:44pm

NEW! Gates PTA will now be communicating via email once a week -- every Sunday -- about  everything new happening in the coming week! So be sure to check this weekly update email every Sunday so you don't miss anything. Exceptions will be time-sensitive messages and emails going to only specific classrooms or groups.

There is also a weekly update that is auto-generated and sent out every Sunday from Konstella. Check these emails for all the new activities added to Konstella in the past week. You will no longer get emails every time something is added to Konstella. If you do not get an email from me, that means the updates were covered by the "Upcoming Events and Recent Announcment" email.

Thank you!

NEW: Konstella Code of Conduct

The purpose of Konstella is to provide a platform to organize school activities, communicate upcoming events and important information, and to provide a way for parents in each classroom to connect with one another for organizing fundraising, classrooms parties, and for questions related to the class and/or the school.

The Gates PTA has  drafted the below Code of Conduct that --  going forward -- we expect everyone will follow to ensure we continue to build a positive environment at Gates:

GATES PTA KONSTELLA CODE OF CONDUCT:

1.) Konstella should be used to communicate about topics relating to the school and the class, not for religion, politics and irrelevant but contentious topics.

2.) Be Kind and Courteous. We're all a part of the Gator community, and it is up to us to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments will not be tolerated.

3.) Be helpful. If a member asks about something you can help with, or have access to the information needed, share it. Building a great Gator community is why we join Konstella!

4.) Use the classroom chat to send messages of interest to everyone in the class. Otherwise, send a private message to tell another member about anything personal or relevent only to that person.

5.) Respect Everyone's Privacy. Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the group should stay in the group.

6.) Admins reserve the right to ban, block, delete, any posts or members of this group for any reason.
