Back-to-School Night this Thursday and Pajama Day is Friday
Tue, Sep 1 7:18pm

Back-to-School Night is almost here!

Join us on the evening of Thursday, September 3 from 5:30 - 7:00 pm and learn what's ahead for your students this school year. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child(ren)'s teacher and learn more about your child(ren)'s experience at school. We will begin with a presentation at 5:30 pm at the Cafeteria, and introduce all the teachers, followed by sessions at your child(ren)'s classroom.

Kindergarten families, please make arrangements for your child so that you are able to attend without them. We want you to be able to give your undivided attention to the teacher and classroom, which we know can be extra challenging with little ones. If attending without your child presents a hardship for you, please reach out to Ms. Walter (walterc@sfusd.edu) or Ms. Jackie (mendozaj4@sfusd.edu). TK families should follow the guidance provided by Ms. Dowson.

Students in 1st through 5th grades are encouraged to attend, as they will be expected to play an active role in the event. Please check your child out of GASP before attending and remember that your are responsible for supervising your kiddos after check-out.

We know kids will be hungry at this time, and we will have PIZZA for sale in the courtyard.  The funds raised will go toward this year's 4th/5th grade field trips.

Finally, Pajama Day is Friday, September 4th. Kiddos are invited to wear their pajamas to school, but please leave the stuffies/stuffed animals at home.

We can't wait to see you there!

Warmly,
Amy Hutmacher & Kristin Ryker
