Dear Grattan PK-5th Grade Families,

Please join for a Gallery Walk to celebrate Black History Month at Grattan tomorrow: Tuesday, February 28 following Clap-In.

What’s a gallery walk, you ask? It’s an opportunity for families to walk the halls of our school and check out all the great work our students have been doing in celebration of Black History Month. Every classroom will have a bulletin board outside its door with student work for you to enjoy.

We want students and teachers to get settled before the Art Walk begins. You're welcome to join us in the courtyard for a cup of coffee or tea and then take a walk around the school beginning at 8 a.m. Remember, classes are in session, so please respect the teaching and learning happening. This is NOT an opportunity to go into classrooms! The gallery will close at 8:45 and reopens after school from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. so families have an additional opportunity to see the gallery.
