Friday May 1st we are asking families to wear their best Grattan Gear or other bright colors and exercise with their families for a goal of 30 min. For some families this may be a walk or run around the block with safe social distancing or it may be a home work-out in their living room or backyard.
There will be NO fundraising for Grattan this year. Rather than raising money, we are encouraging students to write thank you notes to health care providers and other essential workers. You can also consider hanging signs from windows or chalking up the sidewalks. If any students are interested in fundraising we are encouraging them to give back to local merchants that have supported Fun Run and Grattan in the past. The link to local business' fundraising efforts can be found here (https://docs.google.com/
We are encouraging students to make a Fun Run plan and to post it to their Google Classrooms. On May 1st send photos or drawings of your student running to firstname.lastname@example.org. We are hoping to compile a slide show of families participating at home. Also, if you post any pictures to social media consider tagging them #grattanfunrun.
This a long beloved Grattan event. In this time where we are all forced to be physically distant, it is more important than ever to support our community.
