HAPPY NEW YEAR & WELCOME BACK
Thu, Jan 2 3:42pm

Good Morning and Happy Happy New Year,

First, I just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU for the lovely send off on the 20th and all the lovely cards, gifts, and the lovely "Student Finger Print" photo (looking for the perfect hanging place).  I promise to keep in touch and visit from time to time.

Just a few reminders:

Reporting Absences:  Please bookmark the Grattan Absences Reporting Form (see below).   We ask that you fill out the form first thing ( by 9:00am) in the morning on the day(s) of your child’s absence.  Also starting this year, you can report an ALL DAY ABSENCE via ParentVue. Please use either the Grattan Absence Form OR the ParentVue Attendance form.  Do not submit both. The Grattan Form asked some of the following:

STUDENT'S NAME  (NOT YOUR NAME )

STUDENT'S DATE OF ABSENCES (NOT DATE OF BIRTH)

WILL STUDENT BE RETURNING AFTER THEIR MEDICAL/DENTAL APPOINTMENT?  (ONLY IF THEY ARE NOT CURRENTLY AT SCHOOL.)

If your student is already at school  and you will be picking them up early, there is NO need to fill out the form, just come to the office to sign them out  and we will  call them down.  Also, please make sure that they sign in after returning after an appointment., in the Office.

PLEASE make sure all household adults have activated their ParentVUE accounts and you have completed and  or update your EMERGENCY CARD(s), this has to be done each year, and that your settings are not filtering ParentVUE to spam.

Also, PLEASE get in the habit of labeling all lunch boxes, water bottles, jackets, etc.  Our lost and found grows at a record rate and we work hard to return anything labeled prior to donating the lost and found stash at the end of each month.

Again, Thank you.
