Hello Grattan Families! My name is Kathy Isbister, and I am beginning my 7th year as the Grattan Teacher Librarian. I am looking forward to welcoming your students into the library this year!
We are in need of extra grown-ups during kindergarten and first grade library times! Volunteers read with kids, help them with library projects, and sometimes help the librarian with book checkout.
If you would like to help support us for kindergarten (rm 101 Mr. Bruce at 9:30 on Wednesday, rm 106 Ms. Aidan at 10:15 on Wednesday), or 1st grade (rm 213 Ms. Schultz Monday at 8:25, rm 203 Ms. Juanita on Tuesday at 12:40, rm 210 Ms. Ekta on Tuesday at 1:20), please reach out to me directly at isbisterk@sfusd.edu to share your availability.
The library currently has sufficient shelving support. If you would like to help with other special projects that occur from time to time throughout the year, please let me know and you'll be on my contact list when these projects arise!
