When we return from spring break, we invite all Grattan families to join us in celebrating our paraeducators during Paraeducator Appreciation Week, April 6 through 10.
Extend your thanks to our paraeducators by leaving a message on Padlet, dropping off notes or student drawings to the office for us to share with them, or, if you see one of these special humans, thank them in person!
Paraeducators are such an important part of our school community, bringing care, dedication, and support to students each day. Their meaningful contributions don’t always get the recognition they truly deserve. They help keep our special day classes running smoothly and safely, meeting students where they are to support their educational needs. In our general education classrooms, although we typically think of paraeducators as specifically supporting students with individualized education plans (IEPs), in practice, their presence is beneficial to all the students and allows classroom teachers to maintain the focus of their lessons. Thank you for helping us to recognize our paraeducators important contributions!
Wishing everyone a safe and relaxing spring break!
