Pie Day tomorrow, 12/13, at Clap-In! We have one more day to get more adults pied.

Pie Day is this Friday, December 13 th ! This means that you have one more day to contribute to Grattan’s Annual Campaign in support of this event. Due to a matching opportunity, ALL donations between now and Pie Day will be matched up to $10,000!


On Pie Day, for every $5,000 raised since early November (up to $50,000), a teacher has volunteered to take a pie in the face! For every grade level that has reached 50 percent participation in the Annual Campaign, a parent will also take a pie in the face! No amount is too small – all contributions are welcome – and we would like to see grade level participation increase so that parents can be pied alongside the teachers.


Since early November we have raised $60,548! Current participation by grade: 
K: 44%
1st: 37%
2nd: 41%
3rd: 38%
4th: 32%
5th: 26%
Schoolwide: 36%


There are many ways to contribute:

1) cash or check payable to Grattan PTA; this can be handed directly
to Ms. Karen or mailed to the attention of PTA Treasurer at the school address,
2) Zelle to grattanptafunds@gmail.com (no fees),

3) PayPal (3% fee) at http://paypal.me/GrattanPTA ,
4) Paypal Giving Fund (no fees) HERE ,or

4) Venmo (1% + $0.10 transaction fee) to @GrattanPTA. 


Grattan PTA is a 501(c)(3) organization and will issue receipts for all donations over $20. Please check whether your employer has a donation matching program. If you require a donation receipt prior to income tax season for matching purposes, please email your request
to grattanptatreasurer@gmail.com.

Finally, if you would like to ensure your donation is tax deductible for 2024, please ensure any cash or checks are received at the school no later than December 21st.  With all the political uncertainty around education, rest assured that all funds donated to Grattan PTA
will remain with the Grattan PTA, and the budget will continue to be managed by the PTA. With looming budget cuts, your support is needed now more than ever.

The Grattan Annual Campaign funds 85 percent of the PTA's budget and supports the many initiatives that make Grattan an exceptional learning community. We couldn’t do it without everyone’s involvement!
