Hello Grattan Community -

Let’s celebrate our Grattan community during Grattan Spirit Week! Keep these Spirit Week days in mind when getting dressed September 30  through October 4:

• Monday, September 30: Colorful Expression! (Rainbow of Colors)  - Dress head to toe in your favorite color!
• Tuesday, October 1: Grattan Gear Day! - Wear all your Grattan gear, all at the same time!
• Wednesday, October 2: Inside Out Day! - Wear some or all of your clothes inside out!
• Thursday, October 3: Character Day! - Dress as your favorite character from movies, comic books, books, cartoons, superheroes, etc. [Reminder - no full face masks or toy weapons are permitted]! 
• Friday, October 4: Pajama Day! - Just roll out of bed and right on over to school!

**Grown-ups only: Evening activity, Wednesday, October 2: Grown-ups night out on the back patio at Finnegan's Wake, 937 Cole Street, 7 to 9ish p.m.  (Entry is free; cash/credit car bar available for drinks; ages 21+ only.)**

Spirit Week kicks off on September 30 and marks the beginning of Grattan’s Annual Campaign, a crucial fundraising effort that funds staff and programs integral to our students’ success. The Annual Campaign generates 85% of the PTA’s funds and allows Grattan to fully fund initiatives that make our school an exceptional community for students.

We encourage Grattan families to participate in a way that is meaningful for you. This might mean a financial gift (no amount is too small and many employers offer matching opportunities) and/or volunteering your time at a fundraising event. Watch out for more information!

To support Grattan’s Annual Campaign during Spirit Week, you can:

1. Enclosing cash or a check payable to the Grattan PTA, and return via the accompanied self-addressed envelope by mail, or place in the black locked PTA box in Ms. Karen’s office during school hours. Please add “Annual Campaign” in the memo field and put your child or children’s name(s) on the envelope.
2. Donating online through Zelle at grattanptafunds@gmail.com (no fees, so this is preferred over PayPal!), or through PayPal (3% fee) at http://paypal.me/GrattanPTA.
3. Find Annual Campaign volunteers with a donation drop box at Spirit Week clap-in and Grown-ups Night Out!
