Calling all Garden watering angels!!
The Grattan garden is in need of twice-weekly watering over the summer.
The areas that we would love to keep alive are:
- The silver troughs at the upper yard,
- Shrader Street garden, and
- Grattan Street garden, fenced in area mainly (including potted plants)
The hose spigot near the Shrader gate will be left in the "on" or "open" position, so all you need to do is turn on the one hose toggle connected to the extremely long hose right next to the spigot. You will hear and see the water turn on. That hose can water both upper yard troughs and also Shrader Street garden.
You will need the silver T-shaped water key to turn on the water. It is clipped to the chain link fence right near Shrader gate hose, about 3 feet to the left of the hose. You need the key to turn on the main spigot (which is a different spigot and different hose) in the Grattan Street garden. Follow the hose to the spigot there, but you will see it hiding under the tree with yellow flowers, about 6 feet from the picnic table.
Signing up for a week would require watering only two days of your choice.
