Teacher appreciation week is coming up next week, and we want to show our teachers and staff that we support them in winning a fair contract that recognizes their hard work and dedication to our students. Please consider getting involved!
Here are three opportunities for showing your support:
1) There will be an informational picket by teachers this Wednesday, May 3rd, from 11am - 12:30pm at Carl and Cole Streets (by the N Judah stop). Stop by and show your love!
2) There will be a Board of Education meeting next Tuesday, May 9, from 6:30-9pm at 555 Franklin, where you can voice your support for UESF proposals on paraeducator raises and more. More information here: https://tinyurl.
3) You can send a letter to Superintendent Matt Wayne and/or the Board of Education, sharing your personal stories of why our teachers & paraeducators deserve a fair contract. Contact information is below.
