Hi Grattan Families! 

It's time for the BOOK SWAP!  We will be collecting hundreds and hundreds of books from your home libraries so that there is an incredible amount of literature to offer our students, beginning Monday May 16th.

Here's how the Book Swap works:  There are scheduled classroom visits for Monday through Thursday.  All students will have a chance to browse the books that are set up all around the library.  The books are set up in bins and stacks by genre and reading level, and everything is very easy to navigate.
This is an amazingly fun event that Grattan students look forward to every year.  A fabulous group of parent volunteers is leading the Book Swap again this year, and they have asked for extra help.  This is a family-organized event, and we would love to see more families participate.  This your chance to be a well-respected book critic!   

These quick jobs the week of the Book Swap include:  Helping kids find their books, transitioning classes in and out of the swap, and just being an all-around awesome person. The time commitment is approximately 1 hour per slot.  Feel free to sign up for MULTIPLE slots, too!!
