Join Mr. Bjorngjeld's 5th grade class and other Hacienda staff in supporting fostered youth in the Bay Area this holiday season.

Starting today through Friday, December 16th we are collecting new unwrapped toys and gift cards to donate to Pacific Clinics foster care families. We are especially seeking gifts and gift cards for the teen population who often get forgotten in toy drives. If you and your family would like to donate a green bin is set-up in the cafeteria for gift drop off.

Toy/Gift & Gift Card suggestions:

• Gift cards: We especially appreciate gift cards because they empower families to maintain dignity and provide for their own children.
• Family board games (Sorry, Life, Clue, Monopoly, etc.) for multiple players and a wide variety of ages
• Sporting goods: basketball, football, soccer ball, volleyball, kickball, plush balls
• MP3 players (non-iPod) for $40 and under
• Art supplies for kids of all ages and abilities
• Journals in masculine and feminine colors
• Infant toys
• Action figures, Barbies, Bratz dolls, remote control cars and airplanes

No stuffed animals or books please.
