Auction Night 2023 Get Excited & JOIN OUR TEAM!!!
Fri, Jan 27 7:06pm

 I'll be there for you
(When the rain starts to pour (like most of January))
I'll be there for you
(Like I've been there before... by planning our 2nd annual auction night out)
I'll be there for you
('Cause you're there for me too... by joining the auction team!)

We're going back, back to the '90s, '90s! Fan Favorites, like Friends, came out over 25 years ago (eek!)... but if you walk into Macy's this season, you'll see that's just long enough for everything to come full circle, and those styles are baaacckkkkkkkk!

So, whether you are excited about buying something new (what's old is new again!), raiding your old bedroom when you go visit Gramma's house, or just enjoy a good trip to your local thrift store,  keep your eye out for nostalgic gems and you might just win the costume contest this year! Feel like a girl's night out? The Spice Girls are calling your name! Couples costume? Kelly Kapowski and Zac Morris might be right up your alley. A solo night out with your pals- TGIF characters abound ("Did I do that?!?!")

Does all of this sound like "all that and a bag of chips"?! Are you scrolling down to see if you can buy a ticket already?! "Aiight"...

BUT FIRST... it takes a TEAM to put on something so big! Before we can put a deposit on a venue and sell those tickets, please sign up below to join our night out and live auction event planning committee- NEARLY fully planned due to the closure of 2020. This online, silent, and live auction includes a night of adult beverages, heavy apps, jams, and a VERY "fly" surprise that we think will spark a lot of joy(sticks). So please sign up to join the crew, it will be a lot of fun, with more than a few trips down memory lane, and some jobs that can be done almost exclusively from home. We need you, like Titanic needed Leo, to make this a success!

COMMITTEE GOALS:

Goal #1 is to HAVE FUN and rebuild our parent community! However, as an auction, we also want to raise money for HIPS through the live and silent auctions, which all go towards making our school the awesome magnet we know and love. "It's all about the cheddar." Getting such items donated takes work, and a team, to solicit local businesses (most can be done online, a template letter will be provided to you, and if needed postage will be reimbursed). We have a lot to go on from last year but need parents to fill the roles and get letters out. Without a team committed to reaching out for donations... there is nothing to auction off... and thus, no auction. It can be done largely from the comfort of your own home or office, possibly with your favorite 90s programming on in the background.

We will be soliciting business donations soon, but if you want to get an early jump on it, the form can be found HERE
