2023 FALL FESTIVAL MAP

Friday Update: See everyone tomorrow- the map of everything is attached! Please still sign up if you can.

Thursday update: Reid & Griffith are TIED for first place, and Selfridge/Bonfiglio are only one volunteer behind in 3rd place to earn the ice cream sundae party!!!! Please sign up to volunteer- we have critical spots unfilled which will require us to CLOSE GAMES to make sure there is enough coverage everywhere else. Let's not let this happen!

Q&A: -YES! Volunteers may wear costumes when helping, and the entire school is invited to wear fall or Halloween gear as well. 'Tis the season for all things pumpkiny!

-Winning classes will be confirmed on MONDAY after volunteers are confirmed. No-show and withdrawals will not be counted toward the final totals.

-YES, all of your kids get credit in every room when you sign up, and two parents signing up DO get credit for both people.

The competition is heating up!!!!! Thank you to everyone who has already signed up. We need many more shifts filled to make all the games and activities happen. Please sign up today so that we don't have to cancel any of the fun games! To add a cherry on top of the sweet festival we have planned, the top three classrooms for volunteers registered will each win an ice cream sundae party, with toppings and all.

Get excited as we welcome one of Hacienda's most popular and biggest events of the year... Fall Festival! In order to have a successful Fall Festival, we need EVERY FAMILY TO VOLUNTEER. Please sign up for at least 1 volunteer job, and if you're able, sign up to donate candy, drinks, or baked goods!

Classroom Participation Contest!

The top 3 classes with families who volunteer for Fall Festival will be awarded a PRIZE!

If you would like to provide more than 1 volunteer or more than 1 item for each signup (ie - I'm 1 person, but making 3 cakes OR I'm 1 person but signing up to volunteer with my spouse), just leave a note saying that and the general signup will be adjusted accordingly.

*Candy can be dropped off at the front office anytime the week before the event or between 2-4 pm on Saturday, October 21. To ensure freshness, baked Goods/Cakes should be delivered during setup on October 21 between 2-4 pm.

TRUNK OR TREAT: Decorate your trunk and provide treats! Park it between 2-4pm and remove it after 9pm on Oct 29 Signed Up: 11 / 12 Sat, Oct 21 Choose a theme that is appropriate for elementary school (google search trunk or treat and there are tons of great ideas) Purchase supplies and decorate your trunk (you are welcome to use the huge amount of Haunted House decorations in HIPS storage) Provide treats for ~600 kids (we will ask for some candy / prize donations, but plan to provide at least some). Park your car on campus between 2-4pm Cars cannot be removed or engines started until campus has been cleared of guests at the events conclusion around 9pm. You do not need to stay with your car all day (but if you want to dress up and be part of your display, go for it!) We will have volunteers running the trunk or treat.
