Great Kindness Challenge Week
November 10 - November 14, 2025

Hello Hacienda Students, Teachers and Parents,
To spread kindness throughout our school and community, Hacienda will be participating in a week of kindness. Each day we will have one small act of kindness activity that students may choose to participate in. Students can further participate by including the day’s color into their wardrobe.

Monday, November 10- Wear YELLOW to show your bright side
Be kind to yourself! During lunch/recess- chalk will be available for students to draw a heart symbolizing self-kindness and love.

Tuesday, November 11- No School

Wednesday, November 12- Wear GREEN to show that you care about our planet +Kindness Chain-  Write a kind message, compliment, drawing on a strip of paper. Then link your strip to others to create a school wide kindness chain. Make at home or supplies will also be available during lunch.

Thursday, November 13 - Wear TIE DYE to show Hawk Spirit is awesome
Be kind to our school-continue making our school look beautiful! Students can help pick up litter around our campus and in their classrooms. Students can also thank our custodians, Mr. Marcello & Mr. Edgar, for doing such a great job keeping our school clean!

Friday, November 14- Wear Purple to show your love for Ruby Bridges Day, her courage and bravery.
Write or draw one way you can show courage and/ or kindness. Before school and/or recess- students will be able to color and fill out a shoe template with a way you can follow in Ruby’s footsteps.

Also join us at Paul Moore Park for a special Ruby Bridges Walk-n-Roll.
