MESSAGE FROM THE HIPS BOARD: Thank you, HIPS Community! As we wrap up the 2024–2025 school year, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire Hacienda Involved Parents and Staff (HIPS) community. The “I” in HIPS stands for Involved—and you have truly lived up to that name. Whether it was volunteering at events, supporting classrooms, or lending your voice and ideas, your dedication has made a lasting impact. We simply couldn’t do all that we do without you. Your time, energy, and enthusiasm have helped make this a successful and memorable year for our students and staff alike. Thank you for being such an essential part of the Hacienda family. We hope you enjoy a relaxing, well-deserved summer break. Best of luck to our 5th graders as they head off to middle school - we’re so proud of you! And to everyone else, we can’t wait to see you back in August! 

5th Grade Promotion Photo Booth Photos: Congratulations to our promoting 5th graders & families. We hope you enjoyed the various photo options to help commemorate your time at Hacienda. MUSIC PERFORMANCE VIDEOS: HIPS is happy to share the 2024-2025 videos of the various music performances so far this year. A HUGE thank you to Anthony Banares for all his time spent recording and editing. The Banares family has only 1 year left at Hacienda and would like to train other volunteers to take on this role. If you have a video background or have an interest in learning, please contact president@hips.rocks We would love to get a team together to share the schedule. SAN JOSE GIANTS FIREWORKS NIGHT: Let's pack the park with tie-dye on June 27th! Join HIPS for a night out at the ballpark and watch the San Jose GIANTS vs. Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. Tickets are just $18 (+$3 service fee), and a portion of the proceeds goes back to us to help reduce the cost of science camp!!! If we sell 100 or more tickets, Mr. Weber will throw out the ceremonial first pitch, and we are soooo clossseeeee! Mr. Weber might need to start warming up that pitching arm. Be sure to stay after the game to watch the beautiful fireworks display!!!!!

INCOMING KINDER HAWKS!: Do you have an incoming Kindergartener for the 2025-2026 school year?

• Thursday, June 12th at 9:00 AM on the Hacienda Kinder playground

• Sunday, July 13th at 9:00 AM at Paul Moore Park (Be sure to wear your Hacienda gear!)

SUMMER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES FOR 2025-2026 COMMITTEES: Even though school will be out for summer, we have a couple of committees that could use some help over the summer.
