Parents, feel free to join us for our school wide Halloween parade shortly after the start of the school day at 9:10am taking place on our upper grade blacktop where we typically do Kids in Motion. Check out the map attached to see where your Hawk's classroom will be located. Students will continue with the school day in costume and enjoy a sing-a-long and more fun activities throughout the school day with their classmates.
Students who are coming in costume should wear their costumes to school and be prepared to stay in costume all day. Please remember that we are a K-5 school with a variety of age ranges, so please keep that in mind when choosing your costume to wear at school. For costume dress-up, please follow the guidelines below: - No full face masks to be worn outside of the Halloween parade - No weapons, blood, or gore. - No costume depicting or advocating violence, criminal activity, or gang-related activity. Please choose a school-appropriate costume. Students should be able to sit comfortably, use the restroom easily, and participate in the normal school day activities, such as recess, lunch, and PE. |
