Highlights from Our HIPS Meeting

Here’s a quick recap of what we covered during last night's HIPS meeting:

• Star Party is this Saturday, March 1st and we still need a handful of volunteers especially with Telescope Support by managing the areas around the telescope to ensure safety for both the students and the telescopes.  
• Dining Night Out will be on Mar 11 from 4-9pm at Giorgio's. They’ll donate 15% of the bill for in-house dining or takeout back to HIPS! Flyer will be shared on Konstella in the upcoming week.  Come out and support not only HIPS but a local Hacienda family business. The Kebab Shop DNO brought in $884. Way to go Hawks!
• Spring Fling registration is right around the corner! A flyer will be sent home next week and more info coming on Konstella on Monday, March 3rd. We can't wait for you to see what we have planned for this year! 
• Annual Giving Drive Pizza Day is on Friday, Feb 28th. There will be a very limited number of choices for school lunch, but everyone is able and welcome to get a slice of pizza on HIPS. Feel free to send your child with snack/sides and a drink.
• HIPSters Awards: Congratulations to our HIPSter recipient, Nikki Pirotta, for January. Thank you for going above and beyond to support Hacienda! Keep those nominations coming in.
