Highlights from Our HIPS Meeting

Here’s a quick recap of what we covered during this morning's HIPS meeting:

• Spring Fling is Saturday, March 29th! Keep those pledges coming in - you're doing awesome! We're 75% of the way towards our goal. The Food & Activity Pre-sale page closes on Monday, March 24th. We have lots of high school volunteers but we're in need of adult volunteers. Shifts are broken into 1.5 hour time slots so you can volunteer but still enjoy the event with your family. 
• Dining Night Out at Giorgio's raised $600 for Hacienda! Overall you helped us raise $3,055 this school year. Absolutely Amazing! 
• At April's meeting our Parliamentarian will present the Slate of Officers to the membership. Between returning board members and new volunteers we expect to have a full board next year. If anyone that hasn't already expressed interest would like to run for a board postion, please reach out to Nick Quinn at parliamentarian@hips.rocks 
• The membership voted to approve renewing our CD and allocating an additional $100k for a total of $243k. The CD will start this month and run till October 2025.
• A big round of applause to Mrs. Muller and Mrs. Debbi who were named Hacienda's Teacher/Staff of the Year!!
• HIPSters Awards: Congratulations to our HIPSter recipients, Dana Crizer, Kim Le, Elizabeth Muller, and Jessica Hernandez. Thank you for going above and beyond to support Hacienda!
