Highlights From Our HIPS Meeting

Here’s a quick recap of what we covered during this morning's HIPS meeting:

• The 85" touchscreen TVs for K-2 have been ordered. Hacienda will be the first school within SJUSD to have them.
• We voted for the 25-26 Executive Board. Congratulations and welcome to new board members: Jocelyn Weart, Rebecca Richmond, Haddie Lyons, Nickole Gilliam, and Andrea Reid. We're also thrilled to welcome back our returning board members: Jaime Cloud, Shannon Miller, Bernice Fung, Keely Berg, Adrinna Cerna, Leanna Moore, Lea Schweitzer, Liron Mendelson, and Kelly Hanna. 
• The 2025-2026 Preliminary Budget was presented and approved.
• HIPSters Awards: Congratulations to our HIPSter recipients:
  April: Angela Dobrow, Amanda Cook, Domingo Borrego, Mary Moorman, Shannon Uribe, Debbi Santina, Maggie Hollenbeck, Renee Anders
  May: June Wong, Kelley Alwood, Melissa Perry, and Michael Phorn
