Highlights from Our HIPS Meeting
Here’s a quick recap of what we covered during Tuesday's HIPS meeting:
- Traffic Circle Etiquette: Drop off only, parents need to stay in their vehicles, and students should only exit from the right-hand side of the car. DO NOT park in any staff spaces! We've had several staff unable to find parking in the morning.
- Audit Report 3/1/25 - 7/31/25: Our auditor found no concerns and HIPS financial processes and controls appear to be consistently maintained and operating effectively.
- Treasurer Report: For September we had revenue of $135,644 with Program Expenses of $48,955. September Expense highlights include music payroll, increase in science assistant hours, tree trimming in ODC, scholarships for field trips, spare chromebooks for upper grades, and Community Events (movie night and family dance).
- Annual Giving Drive rewards are currently in production and estimated to arrive the second week of November. Once received, our volunteers will sort and bundle. Our hope is that they’ll be ready for pick up around November 14th. A pickup date will be announced on Konstella.
- HIPSters has been re-branded to HIPStars! September's Recipients are Matthew Seymour (staff), Kristen Revestir-Luu, Chris Brawn, Lilianna Espinoza, Jackie Matthew. Thank you all for the countless ways you contribute to our school by volunteering your time and dedication with heart and enthusiasm.
- Fall Festival is SATURDAY! We look forward to seeing everyone.
Be sure to mark your calendars for our next meeting on Tuesday, November 18th @ 6:15PM on Zoom Only.
