Highlights from Our HIPS Meeting

• Book Fair is happening now! All classes have visited, and we'll be open after school Thursday and Friday with a special morning session on Friday before school. If you choose to come in Friday morning, please accompany your student(s) to make sure they make it to class on time. 

• International Afternoon is coming up on Dec 5th! We’ll have 19 families showcasing their countries. Please RSVP on Konstella to help with planning. Those families that utilize Bellgrad and YMCA, they'll bring their students to visit the countries. 

• Join us for our next fundraising Dining Night Out on December 4th at Panda Express ALL DAY. Use the code “9009790” to order online from ANY Panda Express location in the US. Feel free to pass along the code to friends and family far and wide and 28% of sales will be donated to HIPS! 

• Treasurer Report: For October we had revenue of $79,535 with Program Expenses of $13,449. October Expense highlights include annual giving drive rewards, staff appreciation lunch during conference week, science/ODC expenses, Teacher Supplies, Community Events (Fall Festival).

• HIPStars October's Recipients are Ms. Bonfiglio (Staff), Ms. Cardenas (Staff), Annie Hermes, Dee Mallins, Janna Papadopoulos, Michael Phorn, and Nikki Pirotta (Parent & Staff). Thank you all for the countless ways you contribute to our school by volunteering your time and dedication with heart and enthusiasm.

• HIPS will be sending out a mid-year survey soon, and we’d really appreciate you taking a moment to share your feedback on our events when it arrives through Konstella.
