Calling all Hawks! We're looking for your help in shaping the next amazing HIPS event: a car scavenger hunt!  Coming this winter, this Covid-safe scavenger hunt will be performed from the safety of your car as you scour the neighborhood looking for notable landmarks and items.

 

Here's where we need your help. This is your chance to show off your neighborhood. With the lockdowns in place since March, you have likely gotten to know your own neighborhood's surroundings more than ever! Is there a neat rock pile on the corner, a little known statue in a local park, a colorful mural on a wall near you? If so, we would love you to nominate it to appear on the scavenger hunt. Please nominate places in San Jose only. They don't have to be in your neighborhood but should be within the boundary of our school district. All nominations will be reviewed and should be visible from a car window. The lucky winners will be featured on the scavenger hunt. Please reply to this message with a location name, address, and 1-2 sentence description of the location you are nominating. We look forward to bringing you more details about this fun family event soon! (Dates are approximate for the hunt and have not been decided on yet!)
