As you know, the traditional 5th grade science camp where students go away for 4 nights was cancelled due to Covid. Many parents and staff are working hard to provide a fun virtual alternative for our 5th grade students before they head off to middle school.

We need parents who are willing to help during specific times of science camp, Tuesday May 18- Friday May 21st. We are planning on putting the students into "cabin groups" which will be online and across the 4 classes. In these cabin groups (6-8 students), parents will lead students in ice breaker activities, crafts and discussions. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to have fun with the students.

Tuesday 5/18 *10:40-11:55 AND 2:00-2:30
Wednesday 5/19 10:40-11:30 AND 2:00-2:30
Thursday 5/20 10:40-11:30 AND 2:00-2:30
Friday 5/21 10:40-11:30 AND 2:00-2:30
*We need 16 parents per time slot. 
*You will be given a handout with specific talking points, games and crafts for each of the time frames.
*You will be given a specific Webex link to sign in.
