Hello Hacienda Families! Our ponds in the Outdoor Classroom have been drained, cleaned, refilled and now we need your help to maintain them! We are looking for a few volunteers to skim the ponds once a week. This will take place shortly after drop off (around 9:05am) and should only take approximately 30 minutes. Volunteers will scoop out leaves from the ponds and stream with nets that will be provided. This will help with reducing the amount of muck and debris that settles on the bottom of the ponds that contribute to algae buildup and poor water quality.
Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes with good traction. You are not required to be a cleared volunteer but please check in at the front office before heading to the Outdoor Classroom.
