Annual Giving Drive 26-27

The HIPS Annual Giving Dive campaign is our largest fundraiser of the year. It will kick off on Tuesday, September 1 and run through September 22. It is designed to raise funds to keep all the inspiring and unique programs we have at Hacienda.  

HIPS is completely run by parent volunteers, YOU are HIPS! And we need your support as a volunteer to keep all the amazing programs in our school. Sign-up to be a part of this vital committee. 

PLEASE NOTE: Due to a limited planning window this committee will plan and prepare some things over the summer. Some of the positions listed below may change based on committee goals.

Committee Leads Signed Up: 2 / 2

Defines objectives and coordinates with the HIPS Board on goals and implementation.

Promo Videos Creators Signed Up: 2 / 2

Help us create and edit the AGD promo videos. We'll create the first video over the summer so it's ready to go on Back to School Night.

Communication Signed Up: 1 / 1

Coordinate messaging and drive updates for FB, Konstella postings, and teacher communications. (weekly during drive)

Signage Lead Signed Up: 1 / 1

Create/update tracking poster for Mr. Weber's door, hang/update classroom participation trackers, hang signage around campus to promote AGD.

Mr. Weber's Challenge Signed Up: 1 / 1

Help coordinate a challenge for Mr. Weber when we meet our overall goal.

Reward Distribution Signed Up: 1 / 1

Update reward letters and lead envelope stuffing team. Organize reward envelope pickup days or classroom distribution.

Reward Envelope Stuffing Signed Up: 2 / 4

Stuff envelopes w/ appropriate rewards based on donation levels.

Organize & set-up rewards for classes that meet participation level. (popsicles in past years)

Crayfish Party Organizer Signed Up: 1 / 1

Contact Science Staff/Weber for approval of dates & key. Figure out how many families can be in ODC for each session. Recruit hosts for each party and set-up Konstella signups for qualifying families.

Crayfish Party Host Signed Up: 0 / 3

Host families in outdoor classroom for crayfish party on selected day (dates are typically in late Fall or Spring). Help check in families, prep crayfish poles, ensure families are following ODC rules, and set out snack.
