Great news!!  Haynesfield has been named as a 2017 Reward School. This means that our students performed in the top 5% among schools in our state. "We are grateful for our students, parents, and staff here at Haynesfield. Because of you,

this honor was possible," said Dr. Walk.

TuesdayANCHOR Block 2 begins. Also, students will receive a report on Tuesday giving parents feedback regarding their child's progress during the 1st 9 weeks ANCHOR.

Parent Conference Night - parents who wish to have a conference must schedule directly with the teacher.

Wednesday Unity Day – wear Orange to promote kindness and stand up to bullying

ThursdayFlu Shot clinic for students. This clinic is only for students whose parents have completed the paperwork.

4th/5th Student Performance at 6:00in the gym followed by

PTA Trunk or Treat at 6:30--

There will be games, trunk-or-treating, prizes, and two food trucks, so make sure you come hungry!  Please help us treat our students by either decorating your trunk and handing out candy or sending in a donation of candy by this Tuesday. 

Box Tops Contest deadline is Thursday

The House Spirit wear shirts will be distributed this week.  However, the magnets are on

back order and will be distributed at a later unknown date. 

Book Fair week is coming up the week of November 13th and many volunteers are needed!!  Please sign up to

 Parents, is your child a 6th grader?  If so, it is time to get out your tissues and start writing those 6th grade salutes to appear in the 2017-18 yearbook.  Please write a message for your child (25 words or less) and email it with a baby picture to duncank@btcs.org

Please make sure you get an emailed response back from Mrs. Duncan verifying that she received your message and picture.  These 6th grade salutes for the yearbook are due by Thanksgiving break.  As always, this is a great way to honor our Haynesfield Graduates with no charge!
