Helpful SEL Resources: Upcoming Webinars this week!
Tue, Feb 23 11:10am

Hello Hoover Families,

I hope everyone is doing well.

I just wanted to highlight a few helpful, upcoming events that are being hosted in our community. These were posted in our weekly Hoover eNews but I wanted to send an additional reminder since a couple of these are taking place this week and our busy families might not have had a chance to catch-up on eNews yet.

Supporting Children in our Changing World

Since COVID-19, the move to distance learning from home, instead of in person at school, has limited the amount of time devoted to the development of socialization skills. Please join this engaging workshop to learn:

  • How to develop social skills in children while distance learning
  • Creative ways to socialize despite social distancing
  • How parents can support children (and themselves) during this challenging time

Hope you find these helpful!

Sincerely,

Queenie Zee Ng
