Hoover PTA is excited to welcome back 

Hoover’s Carnival on Wednesday, May 29th, 11am-1pm.

Since Carnival is during school hours, it is for Hoover students only and only volunteers who sign up by 5/24 will be allowed. Therefore, please sign up to help and be a part of the fun!

 

Volunteers

  • Dress comfortably 
  • Wear sunscreen, hat, bring water bottle, etc.
  • Sign in on the iPad in the main office
  • Pick up your name tag 
  • Please arrive on time, in any case you could not come, please withdrew for us to make other arrangement

General Schedule

8am-11am: Set up

10am-10:15am: Ensure students don't touch anything 

10:45am-1pm: Run carnival games, activities, and food stations

1pm-2pm: Clean up

Five cans knocked off shelf with one bean bag wins 1st prize. 4. Five cans knocked off shelf with two bags wins second prize. 5. Any cans left on shelf wins consolation prize.

Setup: Place game 10’ back from barrier; place instructions on table visible to students; place prizes behind barrier; ensure students don't touch during recess (10-10:15am); use hand pump to blow up a number of balloons in advance, no larger than 4" in diameter; tie them and put in a box near the board; put balloons on the hooks as needed Play: Give player 3 darts to try to pop balloons; pop 1 or more balloons wins a prize
