Invention Convention Virtual Office Hour on Friday 03/04 at 4pm
Tue, Mar 1 9:41pm

Hi! All Inventors and Parents,

We are having our second Invention Convention Virtual Office Hour this Friday 03/04, 4-5pm on Zoom.

The goal of this session is to pique the interests of our young budding scientists, to inspire their learning, to explore the possibilities of science, as well as to provide guidance and support for their project initiatives.

Our meeting host and speaker will be Dr. Jaewoo Jung.

Dr. Jaewoo Jung is an Aerospace Technologist at NASA. He is a dad of a Hoover 4th grader and two Fletcher students who attended Hoover.

He has worked on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Traffic Management (UTM) as a researcher and later as a project manager. Currently, he is leading Extensible Traffic Management (xTM) effort to build a traffic management ecosystem for the future airspace operations.

For the virtual office hour, he will talk about the need for air traffic control, and how drones and air taxis would be managed in the future, followed by a Q&A session. In this session students are encouraged to ask about drones and air traffic control or discuss their projects.

Please join us for a fun learning session and feel free to bring questions.
