Transportation Safety Tip: Using the drop-off zone Here are some important reminders for those using the drive-thru drop-off zone:
Head towards the right side of the parking lot as soon as you pull in.
Children should be able to independently open the car door and exit the car. If your child needs assistance, park and walk them in instead.
Say your goodbyes before it is time to exit the car.
Your child’s backpack, lunch, and instrument should all be within reach when exiting the car (not in the trunk).
Stay in your car with your door closed so others can pass.
Children should exit curb-side along the Theater/Pavillion and walk along the pedestrian path and crosswalk.
Get Involved! We Are Recruiting New Green Team Representatives at Every School If you are interested in getting involved as a parent volunteer, consider being the Green Team rep. The Green Team rep shares tips from our school district on sustainability, engages students in activities, and is a member of the PTAC Green Team. Takes only 1-2 hours per month and can be shared with another parent. You will be a member of the PAUSD/PTAC community and get all the guidance/resources you need. Volunteering gives you the opportunity to: connect with teachers and administration & connect with parents throughout PAUSD Make an IMPACT! Email email@example.com
Keep our Communities Safe from Gun Violence: It's the Law! California, Santa Clara County, and Palo Alto all require that if you have firearms in your home, they must be stored safely. Safe storage is when a firearm is in a locked container or disabled with a trigger lock. For more information, visit besmartforkids.org.
