Transportation Safety Tip: Using the drop-off zone Here are some important reminders for those using the drive-thru drop-off zone:
Head towards the right side of the parking lot as soon as you pull in.
Children should be able to independently open the car door and exit the car. If your child needs assistance, park and walk them in instead.
Say your goodbyes before it is time to exit the car.
Your child’s backpack, lunch, and instrument should all be within reach when exiting the car (not in the trunk).
Stay in your car with your door closed so others can pass.
Children should exit curb-side along the Theater/Pavillion and walk along the pedestrian path and crosswalk.
