Hillcrest parent, Goli Hashemi, works closely with IRC Oakland (International Rescue Committee) - one of the few federally funded agencies left in the Bay Area that helps resettle refugees and asylum seekers in the region.
While they assist people from across the world to resettle in the Bay Area, due to the circumstances in Afghanistan and Ukraine, their supply and demand process has been impacted significantly.
One of the things they need from the moment people arrive at the airport is car seats and boosters. If you have a car seat or booster in clean and good condition that you would like to donate, please contact Goli Hashemi. IRC is currently in need of the following sizes, ASAP:
Infant: 3
2/3 Years: 4
4/5 Years: 5
6/7 Years: 3
