Reminders: Emergency Packets and Hurricane Relief Spare Change Drive
Wed, Sep 13 7:04pm
Hillcrest Elementary

Last Day to Order Your Emergency Packets (or bring in your own) is this Friday, September 15th
It is important that your child has food set aside at the school in the event of an emergency.  Each family is required to either provide their own package of food, or is invited to participate in the Middle School fundraiser - the Middle School students have offered to provide a packet for your child(ren) as a fundraiser to help support their annual field trip. So give yourself a break from assembling an emergency packet AND support the Hillcrest Middle School! The cost is $18 per student and there are gluten-free options. See attachment how to signup
We need each family to notify the school whether they will bring in your own packet or purchase the MS emergency packets. You can print out the form & read more about what is included by clicking
hereCompleted forms and checks made out to "Hillcrest PTA” with “Emergency Packet” written in the memo line.  These can be dropped off in the bin marked "Emergency Preparedness Packets" in the front office.
Please do this today.  Deadline to order these packets - or bring in your own food packet - is this Friday, September 15, 2017.

Please note that we are also mindful of the devastating flooding now afflicting South Asia, displacing thousands of people/animals. This drive is a "think globally, act locally" effort, but some families may prefer to "act globally." Both approaches are generous and helpful.
