Hello Hillcrest Families -
Join us for our May PTO meeting 7-8pm in the Hillcrest Library.
We hope your children have been enjoying their education at Hillcrest school and the activities provided by the PTO. The mission of the PTO is to enhance your child’s educational experience by supporting and supplementing their education with enrichment activities.
We need your help to continue the PTO’s mission. There are seven members of the executive board, three teachers and four parents. Three of the four parents on the PTO executive board are parents of 4th graders, so we will be leaving Hillcrest at the end of the next school year. The fourth parent is moving out of district later this year. We are asking you to get involved now, while we are here to support you.
These are the activities funded and supported by the PTO, please join us now so they can continue beyond the 2019-2020 school year.

- Field Day - the PTO pays for the bounce houses and crafts
- Science Fair
- Field Trips (in school and out of school) - costs in the range of $800 to $1,300 per grade
- Family Fun Nights
- Fall Meet & Greet
- Bingo Night
- Me & My Dance
- Holiday Shop
- Teacher Appreciation Luncheon
- Boo-Grams and Holi-grams
- Ice Skating Party
- Franklin Day at the Somerset Patriots
- Other materials such as - ID Lanyards, Kindergarten ID holders, seat sacks
- School beautification
- Reading incentives
