HBR PTO is a Parent Volunteer Group that plans and executes events for the students and teachers in the HBR Elementary and Middle Schools.
These are some of the items we will be helping to support this year through our yearly fund-raising:
- School Assemblies
- Elementary School musical instruments
- Elementary School playground equipment
- Middle School Track Program
- Middle School Concession stands
- Other educational materials the teachers may need
- Various PTO Events
We are seeking parent volunteers to donate time to organize and run our events throughout the year.
Write checks only for PTO: When writing checks please make sure that you write checks for PTO functions (fundraising, popcorn Friday and directory forms, etc.) to “HBR PTO” we do not share an account with the school and cannot split payments for anything (lunches, fieldtrips, etc.) and our events with them.
Please write H-BR PTO on envelopes
Box Tops: Many items you purchase come with box tops on them (cereal, underwear, fruit snacks, etc.) cut out the box tops on the lines submit to your child’s teacher in a sandwich bag with the teacher’s name on it. We do big collections in October and February but you can turn them in all year long. The classroom with the most box tops turned in gets a party at the end of the school year.
Shop With Scrip: Use our gift card fundraiser to purchase your weekly groceries, gifts that you give, dinner out etc.
Amazon Smile: If you sign up for their reward program, choose Hinckley-Big Rock PTO and they donate 0.5% of your eligible purchases to our organization.
