Supports President and board by helping with logistics and communication

Manages PTA finances, prepares monthly reports

Secretary Signed Up: 1 / 1

Creates meeting agendas, records minutes

VP Programs Signed Up: 2 / 2

Oversees Arts Attack (led by volunteers), some assemblies, Red Ribbon Week, Walk to School Parade

VP Ways & Means Signed Up: 1 / 1

Coordinates Fall Fundraiser and jog-a-thon (this can be split into 2 positions)

VP Membership Signed Up: 1 / 1

Coordinates annual membership campaign, maintains membership database

VP Communications Signed Up: 2 / 2

Coordinates print and electronic media communication, maintains bulletin boards

Classroom Liaison Signed Up: 1 / 1

Communicates with room parents about PTA sponsored events and to recruit volunteers. (can be done at home)

Financial Secretary Signed Up: 1 / 1

Supports treasurer with fiscal matters, makes deposits

Auditor Signed Up: 2 / 2

Audits financial reports by Treasurer (can be done at home)

Parliamentarian Signed Up: 1 / 1

Enforces Roberts Rules of Order at meeting and monitors bylaws; convenes Nominating Committee. (appointed by the President)

Archives PTA activities

Appreciation Chair Signed Up: 3 / 3

Coordinates appreciation events for staff: welcome back, spring lunch, and other events as needed. (On-campus job) Coordinates appreciation events for students: recognition ceremonies, “caught ya’s” and other events as needed (On-campus job).

Fundraising Chair Signed Up: 1 / 1

Coordinates on-going fundraising efforts like eScrip, Dining for Dollars, Goodwill, etc. This position can be split up into 2 people. (can be done at home)

Campus Chair Signed Up: 1 / 1

Oversees campus improvement projects such as gardens (On-campus job)

Staff Representative Signed Up: 2 / 2

School Principal Signed Up: 1 / 1

Book Fair Chair Signed Up: 1 / 1

Coordinates 2 book fairs (Fall and Spring): set up, tear down, coordinate volunteers and liaison with Scholastic books. (On-campus job)

Halloween Carnival Chair Signed Up: 1 / 1

Oversees and coordinates logistics and planning including set up, volunteers, and ticket sales. Works with other volunteers.

Movie Nights Chair Signed Up: 1 / 1

Coordinates Movie nights logistics (On-campus job)

Creates and distributes the Hawkeye newsletter which is currently done 5 times a year. (can be done at home)
