Dear Hoover Parents,

We are looking for a few parent volunteers (2  for morning Recess and 2  for Lunch time) each day, to help out only in the 1st week of school for Ballroom Duty.

We need the help because these are usually run by children in the 3rd and 4th grades and children do not start this duty until the 2nd week of school. Hence, Parent helpers are needed to fill those slots. If there is no one available to man the sheds, it remains closed and children cannot play with those equipment.

We request you to please consider signing up for at least one slot. 

We have two Ballroom sheds:

Ballroom 1 is the closet under the digital clock between rooms 5 and 6.  It serves 1st and 2nd graders.

Ballroom 2 is the shed between rooms 18 and 19.  It serves 3-4-5 graders. 

The basic idea is that kids check out one piece of equipment at a time and write (fill) in the date, their name and room# on the sheets present.  

When they return that equipment, they highlight their names to indicate that it has been returned.  

For ballroom 1 --  the person working there may have to fill in the details since the children may not be quick at writing the details.
