Bring Used Books tomorrow & We need more adults!
Mon, Dec 4 4:49pm
Huff Elementary
Due to today's overwhelming enthusiasm for the Literacy Week activities, we could really use more adult volunteers.  If you have an hour to spare, we would love your help.  Click here to see the sign up sheet.  Any adults are welcome to join the fun!
***Tomorrow (Tuesday) is the Used Book Swap*** If your child wants to participate, remind him/her to bring a gently USED book that they are ready to part with from their own personal home library and they can trade it for a book they have not read before.
It's been a great start to Literacy Week!  We had lots of interested students try the "Guess the Teachers' Favorite Book" contest (ask your child about the CLUE display) and look at their fellow Huff Hawks' favorite books.  A schedule of this week's Literacy activities at lunchtime can be found here.
Attention Kinders, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd graders:
***TOMORROW is the LAST day to order autographed Tim McCanna books***
K-3 students will have an author visit with Tim McCanna, a local children's author, on Fri. 12/8.  An order form to buy his books went home this week.  If you are interested in purchasing a personalized signed copy of his book(s), return the order form and a check to the office by TOMORROW, Dec. 5th.  Click here for the order form.
Please email with any questions!
