Family Science night will be returning to Huff on Friday March 6th 6:30-8:00PM in the MUR. This year’s theme is Science in Wonderland. The story of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland inspires exploration, curiosity, and adventures in an amazing new world. In this theme we'll experiment with volume at the Tea Party, scale and measurement in the Hall of Doors, and the physics of motion at the Croquet Ground. Inspire your curiosity while exploring Wonderland at Huff!
The Children’s Discovery Museum provides all the materials and props but we need 12-20 parent volunteers to help run the exhibits. No prior science background is required, just a desire to have fun learning with the kids. The official activities begin at 6:30, but volunteers need to check-in at the MUR at 5:30 to receive a quick lesson on how to run the various exhibits. Pizza and drinks will be provided after the short training session.
