Dear Hugo Reid Families and Extended Community Members,

We are excited to implement our 3rd Annual Trade and Talent Day at Hugo Reid on Thursday, March 2nd! This day provides an opportunity for our students to learn about the variety of paths available to them in their futures. In order to implement this event in a meaningful way, we need our parents, families, and community’s help to provide this learning opportunity for our students. Please consider participating in our event by learning more below:

The goal of this learning event is to bring awareness and excitement to all careers, fields, jobs, and talents to our students. 

Trade and Talent Day

Date: Thursday, March 2nd

Time: 8:30-11:30 AM 

Location: Hugo Reid Primary and Hugo Reid Elementary classrooms

Details: We plan to offer 3 or more session opportunities for our students to attend throughout the day, depending on the number of presenters. Students will rotate to the various presenters with a prepared schedule. 

If you would like to share your talent, career, trade, or field with our students, please complete this 2023 Trade and Talent Day Presenter Interest Form by Friday, February 3rd.

We will hold an optional and virtual information meeting for all potential presenters on Thursday, February 9th at 6:00 PM. Details will be sent directly to presenters as this date approaches.
