Do you know that last year, Arcadia PTSA volunteers donated an equivalent of $2 million in time to the district?!
Each year, PTSA gathers information to determine the number of volunteer hours for each school. In order to capture these hours, we are keeping track of this information through a sharable Google document. If you have volunteered any of your time for any school activities or events (Raider Days, Back to School Picnic, Mixed Bags, Book Fair, classroom help where hours were not logged in the office, Red Ribbon Week, Winter Wonderland planning, Yearbook planning, etc.), please take a moment to open the link below to record your estimated hours. This will only take a minute of your time.
Please consider the following examples when calculating your volunteer hours:
Executive Board meetings
Council PTA meetings, events
Special School and/or PTA events
State PTA Conventions/Leg Conference
Restaurant Nights, Shopping Nights
Meeting/event setup, decor, cleanup
Phone calls, email, correspondence
Typing, data entry, writing, PTA report preparations
Driving to and from meetings, shopping, etc.
Photography, cooking, baking, serving, making favors
School office, health, counselor, library help
Money counting, recording, banking
Sales (Scrip, candy, gift wrap, etc.)
